Does God love all of his creations?
What about people in Kansas?
I can't help but think people who live there are being punished for something. If you disagree, feel free to tell me something positive about the state because as far as I know all it has to offer is Bob Dole and the world's largest prairie dog.
I'm from KS and there really is a lot more to it than people realize. I'm a Pagan so I really don't care much what God thinks. I live in a rural community with beautiful sunsets and the flint hills of rolling tall grass prairie has its own beauty, wild flowers and wild life. The eastern part of the state has beautiful trees and is more urban. Most people are kind and accepting. However, it is a very conservative state and have our share of nut cases--Westboro/Phelps, Brownback(who needs to go jump in one of our beautiful lakes). Amelia Earhart, Walter Chrysler, Coach Dean Smith, Obama's mother, Langston Hughes were all born in KS. We are pretty much like every other state in having both good and bad people. The Civil War really started in KS because they voted to come in as a free state in 1861. In 1859 Quadrille's raiders burnt Lawrence to the ground coming from Missouri trying to stop that vote: that is where Kansas Bloody Kansas came from. Also John Brown used to smuggle guns during the civil war from here. In 1954 Brown vs Board of ED. brought integration to the schools in the US.
