What is a prairie lobo?
i went to mcdonalds. this guy said that when he went hunting 50 years ago his dogs attacked a prairie lobo. he said that it is stuffed in a capitol building in oklahoma city. it is a furry animal with black hair. he said that it was supposed to have gone extinct 100 years before. does anybody know about this animal? i can't find it.
A prairie lobo is a gray wolf. A timber wolf is a grey wolf. They are all gray wolves. 5 subspecies and your wolf would have been of the subspecies Canis Lupus Nubilus. Not extinct but maybe extinct in Oklahoma.
The only other possiblitiy would have been a Red WOlf but then it wouldn't have been black.
