Bored and drunk with
gun in hand, he sat on
the dry, splintered porch
watching and patiently
waiting.
There!
The tip of a head showed
just over ground, then
prairie dog's body
stretched fully
upright.
KaBOOM!
His aim, dead on, the
curious critter was now
blown away
because he dared to
exist.
Fair sport for one
with a gun
and nothing
to do with his
time.
